Yellow Rose Records was founded in 2002 by Bobby Flores and Al Michalczak. Our objective at Yellow Rose is to record, preserve and forward excellent music. Yellow Rose Records began as a showcase pool for Bobby's album production projects and has since gained a respectable reputation in the industry worldwide for quality albums and gifted artists. Although our primary focus is Traditional Country, we're also pleased to offer Contemporary Country, Christian Country and Pop-Christian artists on our roster. We also have our own recording studio, Yellow Rose Studio, which is located in the beautiful Hill Country town of Blanco, TX.
This prestigious award was presented by the Academy of Western Artists at the 12th Annual Will Rogers Awards ceremony held on August 7, 2007 in Garland, Texas.
Bobby's new CD "Eleven Roses " has just been released and is available in our store! There are lots of twin fiddles, steel guitar, and great work by incredible players on this album. Traditional Country and Western Swing music at it's very best!
We are also pleased to announce the new Christian Country album by Glenda Raye "Songs For The Soul". It features exceptional musicianship and a variety of traditional Country, Mainstream Gospel and even a Latin (Bossa)-flavored song on this album. Produced by Bobby at Cherry Ridge Studio, the undeniable MVP of this project is Glenda's powerful and soulful vocal work. She is joined by daughter Jana Fox and Executive Producer Herb Carrel on vocals. There are also a couple of standard favorites on here such as awesome versions of "Ghost Riders In the Sky" and "Love Me Tender." Our first single release from this album is a truly unique and moving recording of "Peace In The Valley" featuring the magical steel work of Randy Reinhard and B3 Organ by keyboard legend Fred Mandel (Pink Floyd, Alice Cooper, Elton John).
